2003: Finished the season with one of the hottest bats in the Spartan the last week of the season, Koerber batted .462 (12-for-26) with five runs and seven RBI...missed a month of action with a broken right hand suffered March 10...made only two errors all season (.995 fielding percentage) and led the team with 344 putouts...ended the season with a .315 batting average, good for fourth on the team, and 27 RBI.

2002: Blasted nine home runs and hit .322 in 40 games...collected 46 hits and 27 runs...drove in 31 runs...strong defensively at first base, leading the team with 303 putouts along with a .984 fielding percentage...went 3-for-5 with career-best six RBI and two homers at Charlotte March 1...went a combined 9-for-15 with nine runs scored and four homers in the the Charlotte series to earn Big Ten Player of the Week honors...collected three hits in four consecutive games March 3-5 and posted three or more hits in eight games...went 3-for-4 with two RBI March 27 vs. Siena Heights...went 4-for-5 with two RBI at Penn State on May 18...nailed a homer vs. Iowa in the Big Ten Tournament May 23...also tossed 7.2 innings of relief with a 2.35 ERA...struck out eight batters.

2001: Made 37 starts at first base as a true freshman...hit .284 and collected 40 hits including eight doubles...recorded 27 RBI...made collegiate debut vs. Troy State Feb. 23...went 3-for-4 in 13-8 win at Illinois on March 24...hit grand slam to help Spartans beat Michigan, 8-5, on May 6...collected three RBI in 3-for-5 performance in 9-3 win at Western Michigan on May 9.

High School: Played three different positions in high school including first base, outfield and pitcher...three time all-district, all-region and all-state...named first team all-state as junior and senior...was Grosse Pointe North's team MVP in both his junior and senior seasons...league MVP in junior and senior seasons...named USA Today Michigan Player of the Year in 2000...two time all-east selection...set school records in hits, RBI (190) and home runs (39)...had .540 career batting of 2000 Michigan Mr. Baseball award.

Personal: Born Sept. 30, 1982, in Trenton, Mich., to Daniel and Tammy Koerber...advertising major...enjoys golf, football and playing video games...favorite professional team is the Detroit Tigers.
