2003: Kowalski made his third career start against Central Michigan April 23...posted a 2-0 record with victories against Siena Heights April 22 and Eastern Michigan May 7...threw a career-high six innings against Eastern Michigan and only allowed two earned runs on six hits...saw a combined five innings of Big Ten action against Michigan, Iowa and Illinois.

2002: Did not see action.

2001: Redshirted.

High School: Four time letterwinner in baseball...received all-county, all-district and all-region honors in both junior and senior seasons...named first team all-state...was USA Today All-America honorable mention...academic all-state...recorded 1.64 career ERA...won nine games and had 106 strikeouts, leading De La Salle to the Michigan state title in 2000.
