2008: Appeared in eight games, and made one start vs. LSU (3/4) where he went 1-for-1 with one run scored...pinch hit and drove in one run vs. Western Michigan (4/9)...hit .286 in seven at-bats...Academic All-Big Ten selection.

2007: Appeared in 15 games, getting a starting assignment five times...started five straight games from March 11-31...batted .200 with an RBI and scored two runs...picked up first hit of season at South Alabama (2/23)...had one hit each in two games at Oklahoma...had a single and two sacrifices at Indiana (3/31)...walked and scored a run and picked up his lone RBI at Western Michigan (5/8)...singled versus Northwestern (5/11).

2006: Saw action in 25 games and started in eight (seven at DH, one at second base)...collected 12 hits, six RBI, six runs and a double in 41 at-bats, good for a .293 batting average and .383 on-base percentage...hit .412 with runners on base...registered his first collegiate hit in style as he delivered a pinch-hit, game-winning RBI single in the 10th inning to propel MSU to a victory over Seton Hall (3/9)...drove in two runs and had a hit vs. Western Illinois (3/26)...tallied three hits, two RBI and a run in t he Penn State series (4/15-16)...collected a three-game hitting streak the last week of April (4/23-29), and in the middle game against Toledo, he went 2-for-3 with three runs and two walks...had a hit and RBI at Central Michigan (5/16).

High School: Earned three varsity letters at Naperville a senior earned unanimous all-conference, academic all-conference and all-area honors...batted .380 with 36 RBI and five home runs as a senior...named a Top 100 player in the state of Illinois by The Truth Prep Report...also earned all-conference and academic all-conference recognition as a junior...captain of the baseball team his senior season.

Personal: Born Aug. 5, 1986 in Hinsdale, Ill...son of Mark and Kathy chain management major...father Mark was a wrestler at MSU...favorite team is the Chicago White Sox...favorite player is Frank Thomas...biggest baseball influence is his uncle...played summer ball for the Lombard Orioles in 2006...played for the DuPage Dragons in the Central Illinois Collegiate League in the summer of 2007.
