Scouting Toepper: Worked on gaining movement and consistency with his fastball in the off-season... has a nice change-up... can come in at any point of the game.

2005: Toed the rubber 22 times, starting once... posted a 1-1 record with an ERA of 6.32 in 31.1 innings... earned the win after going 3.0 innings, allowing one earned run on three hits, striking out one, at Western Illinois (3/26)... matched a season-high 3.0 innings against Michigan (5/1)... struck out a season-high two batters on four occasions.

2004: Appeared in 17 games, including six starts... produced a 4-4 record on the mound with a 6.82 ERA in 47.2 innings pitched... recorded career highs of five strikeouts and seven innings against Indiana (5/9)... tallied four strikeouts against Ohio State (4/17) and Penn State (5/15)... struck out three batters in two innings of work at Florida State (3/13)... did not give up a hit and struck out three in 1.2 innings of relief at North Florida (3/6).

2003: Made seven starts in first collegiate season... tied his season high, throwing six innings against Penn State (5/18)... struck out three batters against Central Michigan (4/23)... threw a season-best six innings in loss to Western Michigan at Oldsmobile Park (4/16)... hurled 5.1 innings in solid start vs. IPFW (4/2)... tossed five innings in start at Bowling Green, striking out two and only allowing one run (3/25)... made first career appearance against Centenary (2/23).

High School: Two-year letterwinner... earned all-conference, all-district, academic all-district and team pitcher of the year honors his junior and senior years... captain and team MVP his senior year... also lettered in soccer... captain of the soccer team his senior season... member of National Honor Society.

Personal: Born Dec. 25, 1983, to Barry and Kathy Toepper... an advertising major... favorite player is Mark Prior.
