Michigan State-Valparaiso Baseball Series Schedule Update

EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Impending inclement weather in the weekend forecast has adjusted Michigan State's weekend non-conference series with Valparaiso, as the Spartans and Crusaders will now play a doubleheader on Friday and a single game Saturday at McLane Stadium at Kobs Field.

Friday's doubleheader will start at 12:05 p.m., with the second game slated to start approximately 30 minutes following the completion of game one. The series will wrap up with a single game scheduled for Saturday at 1:05 p.m.

This weekend's series between MSU and Valpo is the first meeting between the Spartans and Crusaders since 1994 and Valpo's first visit to East Lansing since 1987. Michigan State is wrapping up its 10-game homestand with its second-straight non-conference opponent from the state of Indiana, after Tuesday's contest vs. Notre Dame.
