Spartan Baseball Gameday: Central Michigan

Mike Theodore started at the Clash at Comerica that was suspended due to weather in the fifth inning.

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State baseball travels to take on in-state foe Central Michigan today to resume the suspended Clash at Comerica and play the originally scheduled game at 3:05. The first game will be picked up in the fifth inning with MSU leading, 1-0.

The Chippewas will have runners on first and second with no outs in the bottom of the fifth inning.

In the second game, redshirt junior Chase Rihtarchik will start for the Spartans. He is 5-1 with a 3.10 ERA. Central is 23-27 on the season and took one of three from Akron last weekend.

Baseball Defeats Central Michigan in Home Opener, 4-2
The Michigan State baseball team opened the home season on Tuesday afternoon with a 4-2 over Central Michigan at McLane Stadium. The Spartans (16-8) allowed just three hits in the contest and Chase Rihtarchik earned his third win of the season. The loss pushes CMU to 11-15 on the year.
