DETROIT - Six incoming Spartan freshmen played in the Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association (MHSBCA) East-West All-Star Game at Comerica Park on Monday night.

Outfielder Connor Mohr (Farmington/Farmington High School) played for the East Team, while right-handed pitcher Walter Borkovich (Traverse City/Traverse City West), infielder/outfielder Seth Johnson (Gobles/Gobles High School), right-handed pitcher Jake Lowery (Highland/Hartland High School), infielder Brennan Kerr (Battle Creek/Battle Creek Lakeview High School) and infielder Johnny Nate (Stevensville/Stevensville Lakeshore High School) played for the West.

The East defeated the West in the 32nd annual all-star game, 9-4.
