Green got on the board early, plating three runs in the first, adding a run each in the fourth and fifth frames for a 5-0 lead. White got on the board with one in the sixth, but Green tacked on two more in the sixth for the final 7-1 victory.

Junior outfielder Robbie Jones and freshman infielder Peter Ahn rapped out three hits each, as Green tallied 13 hits. Junior infielder Royce Ando added two hits to go with two RBI and two runs scored, while freshman catcher Scott Combs posted a pair of hits. Senior first baseman Zack McGuire belted a triple as part of Green's big first inning that fueled the victory, supporting sophomore starting pitcher Caleb Sleeman on the mound.

The White team was led by senior designated hitter Chad Roskelly with two hits, while sophomore infielder Justin Antoncic scored the lone run on an RBI by freshman catcher Adam Proctor. Sophomore Mike Mokma took the loss on the mound despite striking out four.

"Today was another good game. The guys were aggressive both offensively at the plate as well as on the mound," MSU head coach Jake Boss Jr. said. "I'm anxious for what should be an exciting deciding game on Sunday."

Volunteer assistant coach Jordan Keur is guiding the White, while former Spartan players Dakota Mekkes and Dan Durkin are leading the Green team.

The pitching match-up for Sunday's finale will be between freshman right-hander Zach Iverson for the Green team and junior lefty Evan Flohr for the White.

Sunday's series deciding game is slated for a Noon start.
