2007 The Associated Press All-State Class B • Named to the 2007 Grand Rapids Press Dream Team, the Detroit Free Press Dream Team and The Detroit News Class B First Team • Led Coach Andy Secor's Cedar Springs team to the Class B regional finals, averaging 26.0 points, 12.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists as a senior, capturing a fourth-consecutive district championship and a third conference title in four years with a 22-2 record • Shot 86.3 percent from the foul line and 49.8 percent from the field • Owns the Michigan High School record with 572 career made free throws and ranks second all-time in the state with 54 consecutive made free throws • Averaged 24.1 points, 12.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists as a junior, leading Cedar Springs to a 19-5 record and the regional semifinals • 2006 Grand Rapids Press second-team Dream Team selection • Earned all-state honorable mention accolades from The Associated Press • 2006 all-area and all-conference selection • Averaged 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game as a sophomore • 2005 first-team all-conference selection • Averaged 7.6 points, nine rebounds and four assists as a freshman • Played AAU basketball with the Michigan Mustangs for two years and the Michigan Hurricanes for one year • Was also the starting quarterback for the football team as a sophomore and junior, but opted to concentrate on basketball as a senior • 2006 and 2007 Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan Academic All-State honoree • National Honor Society member.
