SPARTAN GAME NOTES

• With the win, Michigan State improved to 8-0 in conference play for the first time in school history.

• For the first time since a 71-53 win at Iowa on Jan. 9, four Spartans scored in double figures - Durrell Summers (10), Raymar Morgan (20), Kalin Lucas (12) and Draymond Green (10).

• With 10 points and 10 rebounds, Durrell Summers recorded his second-career double-double...His five assists and 34 minutes played were career highs.

• Senior forward Raymar Morgan led MSU with 20 points, marking the fourth consecutive game, and fifth time in the last six, that he has scored in double figures.

• Michigan State held Michigan to 32.8 percent shooting from the field - which ties the lowest mark for a Spartan opponent this season (Valparaiso, Nov. 22).

• MSU is now 17-3 against Michigan in the last 20 meetings between the two schools while Tom Izzo improved to 17-8 against the Wolverines.

• The Spartans outrebounded the Wolverines by 16 (41-25), eclipsing their average advantage margin of 9.5 on the glass...MSU is 16-1 when outrebounding their opponent.

• Michigan State is now 2-0 with the starting lineup combination of Kalin Lucas, Chris Allen, Durrell Summers, Raymar Morgan and Delvon Roe.
