• This marked the first time since the 2003-04 season the Spartans have played in three or more overtime contests. This is only the second time in program history MSU has recorded three overtime contests (1981-02 - 3-1). This was the first time in school history the Spartans have recorded three overtime wins at home.

• The Spartans are 9-4 this season when outscoring their opponents in fast-break points.

• MSU tied for its fewest turnovers (eight) this season.

• With the win, Tom Izzo is now 7-1 all-time on his birthday, going 6-0 in home contests.

• Draymond Green recorded a season-high 13 rebounds, besting the previous high recorded against Bowling Green. MSU is 9-5 this season when Green leads the team in rebounding and 25-11 during his career. Green led the team in assists for the 11th time this season (6-5) and 24th time in his career (16-8).

• Derrick Nix's 23 minutes played bests his previous high of 16 set against Gonzaga (11/17/09). Nix recorded a Big Ten-best and season-high nine points. Nix's three assists is a personal-best mark. His three free throws made is a career-high while his five free throw attempts bests his Big Ten high.

• Kalin Lucas scored a team-best 26 points. This is the first time Lucas has scored 25+ points in back-to-back games in his career. This was the first time since the 2008-09 season Lucas has amassed 20+ points in back-to-back games. Lucas' seven 3-point attempts ties his career-best set earlier this season against Washington. The Spartans are 4-0 this season when Lucas records 20+ points in a game and 18-4 in his career. This season, Lucas has recorded 15 (11-4) double-figure scoring marks and has led MSU in scoring seven times (5-2). In his career, MSU is 75-19 when Lucas records double-digit marks and 29-9 when he leads the team in scoring.
