With its 63-54 victory over Michigan State, Ohio State snapped the Spartans' 14-game homecourt winning streak.
Goran Suton recorded his fourth double-double of the season, with 16 points (7-of-12 shooting from the field) and 10 rebounds. Suton got off to a quick start, scoring 12 of his 16 points in the first half on 5-of-6 shooting from the floor.
Drew Neitzel posted his 13th 20-point game of the scoring, scoring 21 of his game-high 24 points in the second half. Neitzel hit 6-of-12 shots from the field in the second half, including 5-of-9 from three-point range. He has scored in double figures in 23 consecutive games.
In two games against Ohio State this season, Drew Neitzel scored 53 points on 16-of-38 shooting from the floor, including 10-of-24 from beyond the three-point arc. Neitzel scored 45 of his 53 points in the second half of those games. In addition, he recorded nine assists against just two turnovers.
