• Junior guard Chris Allen led MSU with 21 points - one shy of his career high. His 34 minutes played were a career high while his four three-pointers tied his career mark.

• Despite not starting, junior guard Kalin Lucas played 29 minutes (one minute shy of his average) and poured in 12 points - going 2-for-6 from the field and 8-for-11 from the line.

• Led by Lucas' 12 points, the Michigan State bench outscored the Purdue reserves, 21-9.

• MSU's nine turnovers was its second-lowest total of the year (6 vs. Toledo) and fewest in a conference game this season.

• Michigan State shot a season-low 32.1% from the field.
