EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) - Draymond Green scored 15 points and grabbed nine rebounds in Michigan State's second exhibition game, an 80-58 win over Hillsdale Friday night.
The balanced Spartans had eight players with at least seven points, with centers Adreian Payne and Derrick Nix and freshmen Travis Trice and Branden Dawson each scoring 10. Payne also had 10 rebounds, while Trice had six assists and no turnovers.
Nick Washburn had 14 points for the Chargers. Brad Guinane had 11 points, and Tyler Gerber added 10.
Michigan State will open the regular season against No. 1 North Carolina next Friday in the first Carrier Classic in San Diego, a game to be played on the USS Carl Vinson.
