With its 67-58 victory over Belmont, Michigan State improved its home record to 9-0 in 2006-07. It also marked MSU's 24th consecutive non-conference win in the Breslin Center.
Michigan State had a +10 rebound margin against Belmont, 41-31, as the Spartans out-rebounded the Bruins, 23-12, in the second half. MSU has out-rebounded 11 of its first 13 opponents this season.

Idong Ibok scored a career-high seven points, despite playing just nine minutes. Ibok was a perfect 3-for-3 from the field.
