Green Earns His Third Big Ten Weekly Honor
Spartan forward averaged 17.5 points and 10.5 rebounds in two wins.

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State men's basketball senior forward Draymond Green was named Big Ten Player of the Week on Feb. 13. Green averaged 17.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists in MSU's victories over Penn State and at No. 3 Ohio State. This is the third weekly honor of the season for Green, and the fourth of his career.
Green opened the week by scoring 23 points, and adding 12 rebounds and five assists in a 77-57 victory over Penn State. He followed with 12 points and nine rebounds in MSU's win at Ohio State. Green also excelled defensively, limiting Deshaun Thomas to eight points on 2-of-12 shooting.
On the season, Green is averaging 15.0 points, 10.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists. He leads the Big Ten with 13 double-doubles and is the only player in the conference to rank in the Top 10 in scoring, rebounding and assists. In fact, no other conference player ranks in the Top 15 in all three categories.
