EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State men's basketball senior forward Draymond Green was named Big Ten Player of the Week as announced by the conference on Feb. 20. It is Green's fourth Big Ten weekly honor this season, fifth overall and second in a row. He averaged 20.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists to lead No. 7 Michigan State to wins over No. 15 Wisconsin and Purdue, helping the Spartans move into first place in the Big Ten standings.
Green began the week posting 20 points, 10 rebounds and five assists in the Spartans' 69-55 victory against the Badgers. He then notched 20 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists in Michigan State's 76-62 win at Purdue on Sunday (Feb. 19).
Overall, Green is averaging 15.4 points, 10.5 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game. He leads the Big Ten with 15 double-doubles and is the only player in the conference to rank in the Top 10 in scoring, rebounding and assists.
