EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State senior guard Drew Neitzel (Grand Rapids, Mich.) will compete in the 3-point contest at the 20th Annual State Farm College Slam Dunk and 3-Point Championships, held Thursday, April 3 at Greehey Arena on the St. Mary's University campus in San Antonio. The competition will begin at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be televised on ESPN at 9 p.m. ET.

Neitzel finished his career ranked third in Michigan State history in 3-pointers made (273) and attempted (684). Last season, he made 114 3-pointers, the second-best single-season total in MSU history, while the 97 he made this season are third on the list. The 273 career 3-pointers rank ninth in Big Ten history.

Other players invited to appear in the 3-point shootout include Chris Lofton of Tennessee, A.J. Graves of Butler, Shan Foster of Vanderbilt, Derrick Low of Washington State, Jamar Butler of Ohio State (will not participate due to Ohio State playing in NIT championship game), Brian Roberts of Dayton and Jaycee Carroll of Utah State. The event will also feature a women's 3-point contest and a slam dunk contest.
