Tickets For Spartan Clash Now On Sale
Oct. 8, 2005 EAST LANSING, Mich. - Tickets for the third-annual Spartan Clash will go on sale Monday, Oct. 10 at Palacenet.com, the Palace Box Office and all Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets can be charged by phone by calling (248) 645-6666. The Spartan Clash features the Michigan State men's basketball team hosting Wichita State on Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. at the Palace of Auburn Hills. Michigan State lost to Oklahoma, 80-77, in overtime on Dec. 6, 2003, in the first Spartan Clash. Last season, the Spartans defeated Stanford, 78-53. The all-time series between MSU and Wichita State is tied 3-3. The last meeting between the teams came during the 1989 NIT, with the Spartans defeating the Shockers, 79-67, in East Lansing.
