EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State defeated UMass, 106-68, on Saturday night in Atlantic City. The win gave Tom Izzo his 341st victory as Michigan State's head coach and passing his mentor Jud Heathcote as MSU's all-time winningest coach. Following the game, the Spartans drenched Coach Izzo with water in the locker room, before presenting him a plaque. The plaque had the mold of a footprint, with the inscription "You've left your footprint. 341 wins."
