EAST LANSING, Mich. - For the first time since 1989, Michigan State basketball is returning to Jenison Field House on Dec. 14-16. The weekend begins with an Alumni Game on Friday night at 7 p.m., featuring former Spartan All-Americans and members of both the 1979 and 2000 NCAA Championship teams. On Saturday, MSU hosts Tuskegee at 9 p.m., with a pre-game concert by The Commodores. On Sunday, the Spartan women host IPFW at 2 p.m.

Tickets for all three events are available at or through the Spartan Ticket Office at 1-800-GO-STATE. Tickets are $10 for the Alumni Game, $30 for the men's game and $8-14 for the women's game.

Nine members of the 2000 NCAA Championship squad are expected to participate, including Cleaves, Peterson, Charlie Bell, Andre Hutson, David Thomas, Mat Ishbia, Steve Cherry and redshirts Jason Andreas and Adam Wolfe. In addition, Ron Charles, Terry Donnelly and Gerald Gilkie will represent the 1979 NCAA Championship team in the game. Among the other alums expected to play are NBA veterans Kevin Willis, Mike Peplowski, Anthony "Pig" Miller and Matt Steigenga. The father-son tandem of Tim Bograkos, Sr. (1969-70) and Tim Bograkos (2002-05) are expected to play. The game will also feature recent alums including Kelvin Torbert, Travis Walton, Austin Thornton, Antonio Smith and DuJuan Wiley, just to name a few.
