04/25/2012 Football Holds Draft to Select Green-White RosterSpring game set for Saturday, April 28 at 1:06 p.m. in Spartan Stadium. Third-year walk-on adds depth at fullback . . . first joined the team in the fall of 2009. HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL DATA: Two-year starter at tight end and linebacker for Coach Mike Donatucci at William Fremd High School in Palatine, Ill. . . . earned all-area and all-conference honors after finishing second on the team in tackles as a senior . . . also garnered academic all-conference recognition . . . four-year letterman in track and field . . . advanced to the state meet as a junior and senior in both the discus and shot put . . . placed eighth in state in the discus as a senior . . . graduated from William Fremd with a 3.65 grade-point average . . . son of Jeff and Terri Bobek . . . born Sept. 16, 1990 . . . father Jeff lettered as a lineman at Iowa in 1980 . . . brother Brian is a freshman center on the Ohio State football roster . . . majoring in food industry management. |
