Thirteen Spartan Football Players Earn Academic All-Big Ten Honors

In the first five seasons under head coach Mark Dantonio, 56 student-athletes have been named Academic All-Big Ten.

Three-year letterman has played in 36 career games . . . enters spring practice listed as the back-up right guard, behind Chris McDonald.

2011 SEASON (JUNIOR): Saw action in all 14 games, primarily on special teams . . . garnered Academic All-Big Ten accolades for the third straight year.

2010 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Earned Academic All-Big Ten honors for the second year in a row . . . appeared in nine games in 2010, primarily on special teams.
