2012 SEASON: Junior college transfer from Cerritos (Calif.) College entered his second season as Michigan State's starting right tackle in 2012 . . . started 13 straight games at right tackle before injuring his foot in practice before the Notre Dame game . . . played 136 snaps in the first two games and was credited with seven knockdowns . . . will receive a medical redshirt and return for the 2013 season . . . recipient of the MSU Football Player Association's Community Service & Outreach Award . . . started the last 11 games at right tackle last season for the Spartans.
