2011 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): In his first year on the offensive line, started 13 games at left tackle . . . ranked fourth on the team with 29 knockdowns, including six dominators, during the regular season . . . named Spartan Offensive Lineman of the Week for his role in the victory at Iowa . . . made his first career start at left tackle in the win over Florida Atlantic . . . made the transition from defensive tackle to offensive tackle during the team's bowl practices in December 2010 . . . impressed the coaches during spring practice and entered preseason camp in 2011 as the projected starter.
