2011 SEASON (RED-SHIRT FRESHMAN): Honored with the Harold & Raynor Shnider Office of the Provost Award at the Spartan Academic Excellence Gala, which is presented to a freshman or sophomore student-athlete who embodies the characteristics promoted by Student-Athlete Support Services, with emphasis on academic performance, community involvement and leadership ability . . . saw action in all 14 games, primarily on special teams, to earn his first letter . . . had two receptions for 39 yards . . . had an 8-yard catch vs. Florida Atlantic and a 31-yard catch against Central Michigan . . . also made two tackles on special teams.
