AS A JUNIOR: Saw action in all 12 games in 1998 and played 52 minutes, including 135 special teams appearances . . . made two solo tackles, including one stop each vs. Illinois and Ohio State . . . AS A SOPHOMORE: Played in all 12 games in 1997 . . . made 122 special teams appearances as the team’s short and long snapper . . . AS A FRESHMAN: Saw action in 11 games as a true freshman in 1996 (DNP vs. Stanford) . . . made 62 special teams appearances as the short snapper on field goals and PATs . . . HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL DATA: First-team Class A all-state selection by the Detroit Free Press in 1995 . . . also earned first-team all-league and all-area honors as a senior . . . two-year starter at center for Coach Keith Froelich at Okemos (Mich.)
