• Michigan State now leads the all-time series 5-3....MSU now has a combined record of 40-7-2 (.837) against current members of the Mid-American Conference....The Spartans have won 25 of the last 28 meetings against MAC teams.

Mark Dantonio is now 16-8 (.667) against non-conference opponents, including a 14-1 record (.933) in Spartan Stadium....Overall, the Spartans have won 22 of their last 31 non-league games (.710).

Andrew Maxwell came off the bench to complete 7-of-8 passes for 71 yards, including his first career touchdown toss, a 3-yarder to Dion Sims early in the fourth quarter.
