Spartans beat Michigan for the fourth straight time, a first since 1959-62.

Today's Attendance: 77,515 (sellout)....Today's game marked the 64th-consecutive sellout in the Michigan State-Michigan series.
With its 28-14 victory over Michigan Saturday, Michigan State recorded its fourth-straight win in the series since 1959-62....It also matches MSU's longest winning streak in series history (accomplished on three other occasions: 1934-37, 1950-53 and 1959-62)....The Spartans also produced their third-consecutive victory over a ranked U-M team (Associated Press: No. 22 in 2009, No. 18 in 2010 and No. 11 in 2011).
Michigan leads the all-time series 67-32-5, including a 19-12-2 record in games played in Spartan Stadium....Since 1953, U-M leads the series 34-23-2.
Michigan State has recorded wins over Ohio State and Michigan in the same season for the first time since 1999.
Mark Dantonio is 4-1 against Michigan and joins Charlie Bachman (1933-37) as the only Michigan State coaches to beat Michigan in four of their first five tries.
Michigan State outgained Michigan in rushing yards, 213-82. The team with the most productive ground attack has won 39 of the last 42 games. During its current four-game winning streak, the Spartans have outrushed the Wolverines, 826-356 yards (by 470 yards).
Michigan State held its third-straight opponent under 100 yards rushing (21 by Central Michigan, 35 by Ohio State and 82 by Michigan). During its current three-game winning streak, the Spartans are allowing just 46.0 rushing yards per game.
Kirk Cousins became the first Spartan starting quarterback to win three-straight games over Michigan. In addition, Cousins tied Jeff Smoker (2000-03) for the most wins (21) by a Spartan QB in school history. He has compiled a 21-10 record (.677) in 31 career starts.
Edwin Baker recorded his first 100-yard rushing game of the season and sixth of his career, with 26 carries for 167 yards and a touchdown against Michigan. In two career games against U-M, Baker has rushed 48 times for 314 yards (157.0 yards per game) and two TDs.
Keshawn Martin matched his career high with two touchdown receptions (2009 vs. Wisconsin).
Chris Norman equaled his career high with 10 tackles (2010 vs. Florida Atlantic).
Denicos Allen recorded a tackle for loss in his fourth-consecutive game (2 for 12 yards vs. Michigan).
Isaiah Lewis recorded his third interception of the season - his second returned for a touchdown (37 yards vs. Central Michigan).
Michigan State recorded seven sacks (62 yards) and 10 tackles for loss (68 yards). In the last two games against Ohio State and Michigan, the Spartans have recorded 16 sacks and 23 tackles for loss.
