EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Linebacker Riley Bullough and defensive lineman Malik McDowell performed on-field testing in front of NFL coaches and scouts on Sunday in Lucas Oil Stadium on the sixth day of the NFL Combine.
McDowell, who measured in at 6-6 and 295 pounds earlier in the combine, made quite the impression with an official time of 4.85 seconds in the 40-yard dash.
In the other running tests, McDowell clocked in at 4.53 seconds in the 20-yard shuttle and 7.69 seconds in the 3-cone drill. He recorded a 28.5-inch vertical leap and had a broad jump of 112 inches (9'3"). He had 23 reps on the bench press (225 pounds).
Checking in at 6-2 and 226 pounds, Bullough had a 31.5-inch vertical leap and 116-inch broad jump (9'7"). He lifted 225 pounds 20 times on the bench press.
