EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio and his wife Becky invite female fans, 18 and older, to attend the Spartan Football Women's Clinic, scheduled for Saturday, April 16 from 2-5 p.m. at the Duffy Daugherty Football Complex.

The program includes a tour of the 25,000-square-foot Skandalaris Football Center, strategy sessions covering all three phases of the game (offense, defense and special teams) and an equipment demonstration. In addition, clinic participants will attend Saturday's practice session for an inside look at position drills and instruction. The clinic will conclude with a panel discussion and Q&A session, featuring members of the football coaching staff and their wives, and hors d'oeuvres.

Pre-registration is required for the event which is limited to 220 participants. For the last two years, the clinic has reached full capacity nearly two weeks prior to the event, so you are encouraged to register as soon as possible. No walk-up registration will be accepted. Check-in is scheduled April 16 from 12:30-2 p.m. in the Skandalaris Football Center.

The registration fee is $65 and includes a T-shirt and cinch bag. Clinic participants are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and Spartan workout attire, as you will participate in a series of on-the-field drills with instruction provided by the MSU football coaching staff. Free parking is available in Lot T-79, located at the south end of Spartan Stadium.

To register, send a $65 check payable to Michigan State University and requested T-shirt size (S, M, L, XL or XXL) to: Spartan Football Women's Clinic, Michigan State University, 135 Duffy Daugherty Football Building, East Lansing, MI 48824-1214.

Net proceeds from the Spartan Football Women's Clinic and silent auction will benefit Ele's Place, a healing center for grieving children, supporting families in Greater Lansing and beyond. In addition, donations will be accepted for the Kathryn Mahoney Fund, established to assist the Michigan State senior gymnast who fractured her C6 vertebra during a practice last December. Contributions will be used for any necessities that Kathryn requires as she continues the post-operative, recovery stage.
