EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State football season tickets for 2017 are now on sale through the Spartan Ticket Office.
To order football season tickets online, visit msuspartans.com and click "Order Tickets" under the Ticket tab, then select football. Fans also may purchase tickets by calling the Spartan Ticket Office, locally at 355-1610 or outside the Lansing area at 1-800-GO-STATE. The Spartan Ticket Office, located in Jenison Field House, is open weekdays from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Season tickets are $343 each or $245 for recent MSU graduates.
Michigan State’s seven-game home schedule in 2017 includes three nonconference contests (Bowling Green on Sept. 2, Western Michigan on Sept. 9, Notre Dame on Sept. 23) and four Big Ten games (Iowa on Sept. 30, Indiana on Oct. 21, Penn State on Nov. 4, Maryland on Nov. 18). The Spartans will open the 2017 season with four consecutive home games for the first time since 2002 and for only the fifth time in school history (1918: 5 straight, 1924: 4, 1928: 5, 2002: 5; 2017: 4).
MSU will kick off the 2017 season on Saturday, Sept. 2 vs. Bowling Green at noon in Spartan Stadium. The Spartans will then debut their new white helmets, as part of an all-white uniform combination, on Sept. 9 against Western Michigan at 3:30 p.m.
The Spartans will play under the lights in prime time on Sept. 23 against Notre Dame at 8 p.m. in the annual “Stripe the Stadium” game. On Homecoming against Indiana on Oct. 21, kickoff will either be at 3:30 or 4 p.m. The rest of the home game times will be announced at a later date.
For the 61st straight year, Michigan State ranked among the NCAA Top 25 leaders in football attendance in 2016. The Spartans ranked No. 16 in the NCAA in total attendance with 522,666 fans for seven home games. In addition, the Spartans ranked No. 19 with an average of 74,667 fans per game. Michigan State had three sellouts in 2016, including a season-high 75,802 fans for the Michigan game on Oct. 29.
