EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State football team will conduct its annual Family Fun Day Sunday, Aug. 9 from 2:30-5:30 p.m. in Spartan Stadium. There is no admission charge.

Fans are invited to attend football practice from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Following the two-hour workout, Spartan players and coaches will be available for autographs and pictures until 5:30 p.m.

Spartan cheerleaders will help distribute free schedule posters, mini footballs and pens. In addition, MSU trainers will be on hand to wrap wrists for young fans and apply eye black.

"Our players and coaching staff look forward to Family Fun Day," MSU head coach Nick Saban said. "Our fans mean a great deal to our program and that's why we set aside a special day for them. This event is a small way to thank our fans for their loyalty and support.

"Family Fun Day has become a tremendous success over the last few years, and we hope attendance for this event continues to grow."
