Spartan Single-Game Football Tickets Now On Sale

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Tickets for five of Michigan State's seven home football games in 2008 are now on sale through the Spartan Ticket Office. Single-game tickets are available for all Michigan State home games, except Notre Dame (Sept. 20) and Ohio State (Oct. 18). Single-game tickets are priced at $46. The Spartans open the 2008 home schedule with a three-game homestand: Sept. 6 vs. Eastern Michigan, Sept. 13 vs. Florida Atlantic and Sept. 20 vs. Notre Dame (available through season-ticket package only). Michigan State begins the October slate with an Oct. 4 Homecoming matchup against Iowa before returning to East Lansing for an Oct. 18 showdown against Ohio State (available through season-ticket package only). The Spartans kick off the final month of the regular season with back-to-back Big Ten home games: Nov. 1 vs. Wisconsin and Nov. 8 vs. Purdue. Football season tickets - including games against Notre Dame and Ohio State - are still available through the Spartan Ticket Office (priced at $287 for the general public, $231 for faculty/staff and $136 for students). The Spartan Ticket Office, located in Jenison Field House, is open weekdays from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Michigan State has ranked among the NCAA's top 25 in attendance each of the last 52 seasons, including No. 22 in 2007, averaging 70,540 fans per game.
