EAST LANSING, Mich. - The first Mark Dantonio weekly radio show was held Wednesday night at Reno's East Side in East Lansing. Courtesy of the Spartan Sports Network, fans can listen to the Coach Dantonio show on the Spartan Sports Podcast. The show will be available every week during the regular season.
MSU Athletics Director Mark Hollis and former Spartan quarterback and Spartan Sports Network football analyst Jim Miller filled in for Dantonio for the season's first show. The show also includes interviews with offensive coordinator Dan Roushar and defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi.
The Spartan Sports Network produces and distributes the Mark Dantonio weekly radio show call-in show Thursdays from 7-8 p.m. The first show was held on a Wednesday due to a conflict with a Detroit Lions preseason game.
The Spartan Radio Network, featuring 33 affiliates throughout the state, broadcasts the show live from Reno's East Side Sportsbar & Grill, located at 1310 Abbott Road in East Lansing. Spartan play-by-play announcer George Blaha hosts this live show, featuring insight from Coach Dantonio, special guests, features and phone calls. The Mark Dantonio Show can be heard locally on flagship station WJIM Radio (AM 1240) and WMMQ (FM 94.9).
