EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State football team continued its preparation for Saturday's game against Central Michigan with its second practice of the week on Wednesday.

In the afternoon, wide receivers coach Terrence Samuel and secondary coach Harlon Barnett briefly met with reporters to discuss the upcoming matchup against the Chippewas.

Barnett and Samuel also talked about their relationship with second-year CMU head coach Dan Enos, who played quarterback at Michigan State (1987-90) and also was an assistant coach for the Spartans from 2006-09. Barnett and Enos not only played on the same teams at Michigan State, but also coached together under MSU head coach Mark Dantonio at both Cincinnati and MSU. Samuel spent one year under Enos at Central Michigan as the wide receivers coach last season.

The Spartans (2-1) and Chippewas (1-2) will kick off at 12:01 p.m. ET in Spartan Stadium on Saturday; the game is being televised on ESPNU. A limited numbers of tickets are still available at msuspartans.com.
