EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State head football coach Nick Saban has reprimanded strong safety Aric Morris and outside linebacker Shawn Wright for their unsportsmanlike conduct following MSUs 38-31 double-overtime victory over Indiana Oct. 10.
On the final play of the second overtime, Michigan State free safety Lemar Marshall broke up a fourth-down pass intended for Indianas Tyrone Browning at the MSU 10. Morris and Wright then celebrated Marshalls game-saving hit in an unsportsmanlike manner.
"Both Aric Morris and Shawn Wright have been reprimanded, and they have sent written apologies to Indiana head coach Cam Cameron and wide receiver Tyrone Browning," Saban said. "Both players got carried away during the postgame celebration and crossed the line. We do not condone unsportsmanlike conduct."
