EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Big Ten Network kicks off its coverage of the Michigan State-Michigan football game with "Friday Night Tailgate", the network's television show devoted to capturing the excitement of game week on each Big Ten campus.
"Friday Night Tailgate" is the show where football and fans collide, where the crunches meet the cookouts and the passes meet the passion. The season-long competition between Big Ten campuses enters the home stretch as our correspondents make their second trips to each campus.
This week, the crew visits East Lansing and Bloomington, Ind., to determine whether Michigan State or Indiana has the better campus atmosphere.
Hosted by Mike Hall, this week's "Friday Night Tailgate" airs live at 11 p.m. ET on the Big Ten Network.
Campus correspondent Jordan Klepper gets a jazz lesson from MSU's renowned school of music, helps Sparty find a Halloween costume and upholds one of Michigan State's greatest traditions.
The episode of "Friday Night Tailgate" is part of a year-long competition between Big Ten schools. At the conclusion of the football season, one Big Ten school with the best campus atmosphere will be crowned champion.
