SIX SPARTANS GET DRAFTED, MOST SINCE 2000
Michigan State had a total of six players selected in the 2012 NFL Draft (Jerel Worthy, Kirk Cousins, Keshawn Martin, Trenton Robinson, B.J. Cunningham and Edwin Baker), the most since seven were taken in 2000.
In addition, MSU is one of only eight schools, along with Arizona State, Florida, Michigan, Nebraska, Tennessee, Texas and USC, to have had at least one player chosen every year since the inception of the common NFL Draft in 1967.

COUSINS SELECTED BY WASHINGTON IN FOURTH ROUND
The winningest quarterback in Michigan State history - Kirk Cousins - was the first Spartan selected in the NFL Draft on Saturday. Cousins was picked in the fourth round by the Washington Redskins (No. 102 overall).
