Dan Ellis Selected to NCAA Men's Golf Regional in Ann Arbor

Ellis will make his NCAA debut on May 17-19 at the University of Michigan Golf Course.

SUMMER 2011: Tied for 18th at the Michigan Open with an even-par 288 (74-67-74-73) ... Tied for 46th at the Tournament of Champions with a 10-over 226 (73-73-80).

REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2010-11): Academic All-Big Ten ... Appeared in seven events ... Had a stroke average of 75.4, the second best on the team ... Tied for 21st as an individual at the Fossum Invitational with a 152 (76-76) ... Went 1-1-1 at the Big Ten Match Play Championship, posting a win against Penn State ... Had his best career finish at the UK Bluegrass Invitational, tying for 12th with a career-low 219 (69-78-72); his opening round 69 was also a career best 18-hole score ... Finished second on MSU and tied for 28th overall at the Big Ten Championship with a 302 (74-76-77-75).

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2009-10): Academic All-Big Ten ... Competed in seven events, posting a 76.94 scoring average ... Tied for 18th at the Spartan Classic as an individual with a career-low 216 (72-66-78); his second round 66 was the lowest round by a Spartan during the season ...
