PRIOR TO MICHIGAN STATE: Played a year and a half at Bowling Green University ... Second on the team with a 71.69 stroke average in five fall tournaments in 2007 ... Began the season by tying for medalist honors at the Purdue Midwest Shootout, firing a 71 ... Followed it up with a career-best 54-hole total at the John Piper Intercollegiate, carding a seven-under 209 (68-68-73) to finish third ... His first day, 36-hole total of 136 tied a school record ... Tied for 16th at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational with a 215 (70-73-72) ...
