Men's Golf Completes Green and White Alumni Challenge

Senior Matthew Moseley was the top Spartan today with a 71 at the Green and White Alumni Challenge.

NAPLES, Fla. - The Michigan State men's golf team completed the Green and White Alumni Challenge on Saturday at The Club Pelican Bay in Naples, Fla. Current Tour member Randall Hutchison was the top finisher today with a 68 and senior Matthew Moseley led the current Spartan team with a 71.

"All of us at Michigan State golf would like to thank Larry Gutowsky and Joe Marx for hosting and organizing this special event," said Spartan head coach Casey Lubahn. "It was great to have so many Spartans together and building relationships across generations.

"As a coaching staff, we are very pleased with the work ethic and form of our players. They look real sharp and just need to continue what they are doing."

Michigan State posted a team score of 291.

The Spartans begin the spring season this weekend at the Big Ten Match Play Championship in Bradenton, Fla. on Feb. 8-9.
