TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - After 36 holes of the Conrad Rehling Alabama Spring Invitational, Michigan State men's golf holds down the No. 11 spot. The Spartans have shot a two-day total of 612 (304-308) at the par-71, 6,996-yard Capstone Club in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

Alabama moved atop the leader board with a 580 (293-287), while Jacksonville State is second at 581 (286-295). Kentucky (299-290) and Ole Miss (292-297) are tied for third at 589, while Kent State (302-289) rounds out the top five with a 591.

Junior Andrew Ruthkoski (Muskegon, Mich.) improved nine spots from Friday's first round, moving up into a tie for 33rd. Ruthkoski has a two-round total of 152 (78-74). In addition, senior Ben Fox (Fort Wayne, Ind.), who is competing as an individual, is also tied for 33rd at 152 (80-72).

Kentucky's John Homes is the individual leader with a 138, after back-to-back rounds of 69. Alabama's Lars Brovold is second with a 139 (68-71), while Clint Provost is third at 140 (69-71).

Redshirt freshman Zac Zedrick (Danville, Ill.) is tied for 40th with a 153 (73-80), while redshirt freshman Mitch Pierce (Fenton, Mich.) sits in a tie for 49th with a 155 (74-81).

Senior Casey Lubahn (Sand Lake, Mich.) is tied for 57th with a 157 (79-78). Freshman Matt Harmon (Grand Rapids, Mich.) rounds out the Spartan line-up tied for 64th after posting an 83-76--159.

The final round of the Conrad Rehling Alabama Spring Invitational tees off Sunday (March 14).
