EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State men's golf team heads to Florida this weekend for its final preparation for the upcoming spring season. The Spartans will play three rounds there, sandwiched around the Green and White Alumni Challenge on Saturday at The Club Pelican Bay in Naples.

"We are thrilled to be starting our spring travel with this unique event," said head coach Casey Lubahn. "The Green and White Alumni Challenge is an opportunity to get out and prepare for the spring season on some great golf courses. As an added bonus, it also coincides with our department mission of engaging our community to support and celebrate our student-athletes while building relationships through the great game of golf."

Traveling down to Florida this weekend are seniors Dan Ellis, Dave Ellis and Matthew Moseley, juniors Gareth Blease and Carson Castellani, sophomore Jon Finley and freshman Mitch Rutledge.
