EAST LANSING, Mich. - Former Michigan State men's golfer Matthew Moseley has been selected to represent Wales at the European Team and Individual Championships. The European Team Championship will be held on July 9-13 at the Silkeborg Ry Golf Club in Denmark, while the European Individual Championship is set for August 7-10 at the Real Club de Golf el Prat in Spain.

A 2013 PING All-Midwest Region and second-team All-Big Ten selection, Moseley led the Spartans throughout his senior season. His season was capped off by individually qualifying for the NCAA Regionals, tying for 22nd in Columbus, Ohio. For the season, Moseley led MSU with a 73.92 scoring average, which ranks 14th on the Spartan single-season list. He also posted nine top-25 finishes in his 12 stroke play events, including three top-5 showings, highlighted by winning the Colleton River Collegiate.

For his career, Moseley concluded seventh on the Spartan career scoring average list at 74.84.
