Taylor to Join Spartan Golf in Fall of 2018
Taylor will be on campus next season.
EAST LANSING - Michigan State men's golf head coach Casey Lubahn announced on Nov. 11 the signing of Troy Taylor II to a National Letter of Intent. Taylor will arrive on campus next year to join the Spartans for the 2018-19 season.
"We are incredibly excited about adding such a quality young man and elite player in Troy Taylor II to our program," Lubahn said. "From the moment we met Troy and his parents, we knew they were special, values-driven people who would align well with our vision for Spartan golf. His skills on the course are impressive and his will to win is palpable for those who watch him compete. He is a proven competitor and will be a great teammate.
"Troy is blessed with great athleticism on the course and has plenty of length to compete in college golf. He has really worked hard to develop his shot making and is a great student of the game. He will hit the ground running in fall 2018 and help us compete for championships."
