1999-2000: Totaled 5-3--8 while playing in all 42 games • Had 1-1-2 vs. Notre Dame (12/5) • Had a goal and an assist in the Great Lakes Invitational • Scored a goal in the CCHA championship game vs. Nebraska-Omaha (3/18) • MSU was 5-0-0 when he had a goal and 7-0-0 when he had a point.

1998-99: Played most of his 38 games as the center on the all-sophomore line with right wing John Nail and left wing Damon Whitten • Had 2-2--4 on the year • Scored goals against Miami (11/14) and against Bowling Green (1/15) • Both markers were unassisted • His goal at Bowling Green came just 11 seconds after the Falcons had taken a 2-1 lead in the third period and stood up as the game-tying goal • Had assists against Northern Michigan (10/30) and Nebraska-Omaha (12/5) • Had one of his best games against New Hampshire in the NCAA semifinals.
