Prior to MSU: Appeared in 58 games in 2011-12 for the Omaha Lancers (USHL) ... Put up a +11, second on the team ... Had a 9-14-23 scoring line ... Spent most of the 2010-11 season skating for Compuware, where he recorded 33 points (12 goals, 21 assists) before reporting to Omaha and appearing in four games for the Lancers ... Played eight seasons in the Compuware organization, winning state championships in 2003-04 (squirts), 2005-06 (Peewee), and 2008-09 (Midget) ... Also captured a National Championship in 2009 with Compuware.
