2009-10 (Junior): Appeared in each of MSU's 38 games ... Ranked sixth on the team in scoring (21 points), and was fourth in goals (nine) ... Was a +6 ... Recorded a two-point effort and was a +2 in the first game of the season against Clarkson (10/9) ... Had a three-point weekend in a sweep of Western Michigan (10/30-31), netting the eventual game-winner on Friday on the power play and potting a shorthanded empty-netter to seal a victory at Lawson on Saturday ... Also had an assist in the road game at WMU ... Had an assist in each game in a sweep of Michigan (11/13-14), and was a +3 in the series ... Got the Spartans on the board with the team's first goal at Northern Michgian (12/5) ... Had a goal and an assist in each game of the Great Lakes Invitational (12/29-30), earning All-Tournament Team Honors ... Had three assists and was a +3 in the Lake Superior State series (1/8-9) ... Scored a tying goal in the third period against Ohio State (1/23) ... Opened his first post-season with the primary assist on Nick Sucharski's third-period goal in the first game of the CCHA quarterfinal series with Northern Michigan (3/14), breaking a nine-game scoreless drought.
