2010-11 (Junior) Recognized with the Spartan Fitness Award at the annual team banquet, which acknowledges the player with the best off-ice testing results in preseason camp ... Scored four goals and added four assists in 29 games ... Opened the season with a point in three straight games... Scored the game-tying goal shorthanded against Maine (10/14)... Assisted on Brock Shelgren's first period tally in a 3-2 victory over Maine (10/15)... Tallied an assist on Trevor Nill's game-tying goal against Alaska (10/22)... Registered a season-high four shots against Alabama Huntsville (10/29)... Notched a goal in the second period at Western Michigan (11/5)... Scored in the first period against Ohio State (11/12) ... Had a goal and an assist in a 6-2 victory aover Alaska (1/19), his second career multiple-point game.
2009-10 (Sophomore): Returned from his second stint in junior hockey with more experience and confidence ... Played in 25 games ... Tallied a pair of goals and two assists for four points ... Saw his first action of the season in the second game of the series against Maine (10/17), and scored his first collegiate tally in the contest ... Has been skating on the third line with freshmen Chris Forfar and Zach Golembiewski ... Had his first career multiple-point game against Nebraska-Omaha (11/6) with a goal and an assist ... Had the primary assist on Chris Forfar's game-winning tally in a home win over Michigan (11/14) that concluded a series sweep.
2008-09 (Freshman): Appeared in six games in the first half of the season ... Returned to junior hockey at the holiday break, and played for the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL ... In 38 games in Green Bay, recorded 18 goals and 16 assists and helped the Gamblers to the Anderson Cup (regular-season championship) ... Four of his goals came shorthanded, and he had seven assists on power play goals.
Prior to MSU: Played for the St. Louis Bandits organization in 2007-08 with classmate Ben Warda ... Named the North American Hockey League (NAHL) Rookie of the Year and was named to the All-Rookie team ... Helped St. Louis to a 47-9-2 record and Robertson Cup Championship last season ... Had an impressive 26 goals and 45 assists for 71 points (+41) in 68 games in St. Louis (regular season and playoffs combined) ... Ranked 19th in the NAHL with 57 points in the regular season ... Ranked 15th in the league in assists, and tied with Warda for second in short-handed tallies (4) ... Previously played for Victory Honda (MWEHL) ... Attended Groves high school before going to St. Louis, and was a member of the varsity golf team for three seasons ... Was a Dean's List student each semester.
